The new addition to our family meant that there was only one option which was to get some more additional space from our home in Wandsworth. The old layout was just too out of date, small and cluttered with closed off spaces and not much natural light at all. Our neighbours had used Builders GB last year to update their home with a new pod style loft conversion and a stunning wrap around extension with a glass roof which looks very well designed, futuristic and professionally finished off. We decided to go for the same and in addition we had most of the internal walls removed on the ground floor as well to help bring in more natural light. Builders GB are very helpful and provided all the services that were needed, they also provided architectural, planning and building consultation services at no extra cost to us.

Builders GB just finished my basement conversion, double storey extension and loft conversion. The finish is amazing and the quality of the products and materials is of a very high spec. I came to know of Builders GB through a friend of mine who is an architect he advised me to use them as they work on many projects with the company he works for. They took care of everything from start to finish including architectural and structural drawings and calculations, planning permissions, building control, soil tests and they helped me with the party wall agreements as well. Hassle free and very well priced.

The best hardware shop in south London. Very well stocked, fairly priced and friendly knowledgeable staff. They are very well respected locally, and deservedly so. I couldn't recommend blissets more highly. I'm a handyman, so I'm always looking for random odds and ends for my customers, blissets are always my 1st call, and usually my last! I better leave it there, before I over sell them with my gushing!

Fantastic service from Amos and Dawn at Park Lane after I'd mistakenly ordered a car with the wrong transmission. Instead of telling me to put up with it (which is what some car hire places would have done), they quickly located a replacement car in a nearby branch and then lent me a car to drive there - and they escorted me there just to make sure everything went smoothly too. Great service, great atittude, great people - I'm certain to rent from them again.

Incredibly friendly staff and great service. While one person was taking care of the paperwork another one was already bringing the van. Very efficient! I was out in 10 minutes, including checking for damages and so on. Best car hire I have been to so far in the UK.

Experience was good, look for the unmarked office in the lobby of the hotel. A very convenient location for after-hours drop-off as the hotel has underground parking and front desk staff.

As always first class customer service from all their branches.However this particular branch is in the heart of the congestion zone which applies to anybody pulling out a rental from their underground car park where they keep all their rentals.

I hired Law Carpentry And Bathrooms company to fulfill a list with tasks in the house. There were 2 men who came on time and were so friendly that I felt comfortable the whole time they were wandering around my home. They did fantastic job in just a few hours. I will definitely use the services of Law Carpentry And Bathrooms again.

Decent pub for an after work drink. Toilets upstairs which is a bit of a pain but not much the venue can do about that. Good range of liquor on offer and decent beers on tap. Good seating area outside and doesn't get packed. Staff friendly and efficient.

Great roof top terrace. Small and quiet, so get there early. Close at 10:30, but great for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon get together with friends.

Great range of beers and friendly staff make this pub a haven. If you're tired of Oxford Street, it's only a short walk to well kept beer and tasty bar snacks. The pork pie, with mustard and pickle was a perfect lunchtime snack. Heartily recommended - especially during World Cup games are being shown. Good beer, hearty food and football. A winning combination.

Small pub near Cumberland Hotel. Popped in for a couple of pints on way home. Appears to be more locals that tourists so a more real pub than most. Good selection of real ale on tap and quick service. Would happily visit again when next in area

This is the best experience I have had with a garage. I have never written a review before but was so impressed by the service at Clerkenwell Motors that I feel compelled to write. I drive a Tesla and have had work done other places before recommended by Tesla that I have not been happy with. Clerkenwell Motors and the owner Savo on the other hand are top professionals and provide an extraordinarily good, fast and personal service. I highly recommend them to my friends and everyone else.

Called in on the off chance they could help me with a tyre repair. Having inspected it they said it could be repaired, got a call 3hrs later to say it was ready! Would like to compliment the owner and all the staff for being helpful, interested and polite.

The service provided by them to me when I purchased my Q7 was outstanding. There was a defect in the car spotted after I purchased it, without fuss (which was a massive relief for me), they took it from me and had it repaired by audi and fully serviced (again done right), in the interim I was provided with a courtesy car and was given regular updates on the progress of the repair. If I had to buy again I will look at them first. Extremely trustworthy Thanks Dan for facilitating the sale and for the support while the car got fixed!

Absolutely love it. I was allowed to enter and make soms pictures of the cars that were in the showroom. Very nice people behind the desk who allowed me to take a look at the engine and even sit in one of the cars! Excellent service and definitly reccomendable for any ferrari fan!

Went to get minor dent fixed after a car park hit and run; was quoted a reasonable price and got car back in 5 days with the dent perfectly fixed. The only give away was the faint smell of fresh paint! During these 5 days their sister company also managed to do a great job refurbishing four 19 inch alloys - see my positive review on London Diamond Alloys. Friendly bunch of guys & girls, responsive, and obviously care about the work they do. Would not hesitate to use again or recommend!

Albeit their parking space is not large enough to allow for a large selection of cars, they got the baic models that the average car driver would require. The staff is efficient and readily available. Conveniently located in Battersea park, away from the trafficked city center.

I was impressed with the hard working staff, but they are seriously undermanned on a Sunday and the queue of customers awaiting pick up quickly grew. I arrived promptly for my car booking at 1100, but did not reach the front of the queue until noon, and finally drove my car away at 1230. For our booking they had useful special offer - use of a mobile WiFi unit for the duration of the car hire if you join up to the Hertz Golden Miles Club. Worth checking if this would apply to your hire.

It's hilarious! When you booked your car in London online don't fall for their cheap daily rental rate only. There are lots of hidden cost involved. However with Hertz it's much straight forward and more assuring. Customers service is good too. You will be offered a no-frill full insurance coverage at a small fee, trust me!... TAKE IT! This coverage will save you lots of unnecessary trouble resulting from a small dent to a small scratch. It's worth the money spent. If you are driving far away, I suggest that you also take the GPS device. Google maps on your hand phone doesn't show all parts of England.

Very secure, easy to find, lots of space and central. HOWEVER if you book online make sure you turn up exactly at the time specified or after... not BEFORE or else they make you pay twice regardless if you've not stayed your allotted time. I was told to reverse back down a one way system against a car behind me because I entered at 21.00 instead of 22.00 and only stayed for 13 hours not 24. Should make it clearer when you're booking.

Very convenient and secure underground parking. It's easy to find because it's in a square. Unlike those parkings with entrances in small or major roads where you can miss them, this one is located in Bloomsbury Square. The square is a large green area, so you can't miss it really. So if you are nervous to drive in London, I would say this parking is well located. Once you find the square, there is an entrance ramp on the side. The nearest major attraction is the British Museum at 3 minutes walk. If you are going to Great Queen Street, it's only 5 min walk. Even if there is another parking closer to Great Queen Street, I prefer this one as it's much easier to find with a satnav. To enter or exit you need a code. Be careful when you type the code, you may inadvertently enter the wrong number and believe you have the wrong code. It happened to me twice. The reason is that you type in a touchscreen pad and if your finger is not really well in the center of the number, it may get you the wrong number. I think it something they need to look at. But once you know, it's fine and it works. There are plenty of spaces. You drive down a sort of gigantic corkscrew with places on both sides. Then, when you are at the bottom after a few revolutions, you go upward in another corkscrew with more places. So don't try to squeeze you car in the first tiny spot you see, there are much more further. Support provided during and after the booking was excellent. I dropped an email to their support and within an hour, Maureen came back to me with polite answer to my query. The parking is very secure. Nobody can enter without the proper code. It's not just matter of barriers but there is also a metallic door that opens only if the correct code is entered. Don't forget your code. Keep it safe on a paper and on your phone. I recommend booking online because it's cheaper.

The manager is such a welcoming and lovely person. I didn't have any cash on me so he told me to drive to the nearest petrol station (after they cleaned my car) instead of getting money out of the ATM down the road that charges you. My car was absolutely filthy and sticky from parking under trees. They've done a great and quick job for only £6.50. The only reason I had to take one star away is that the boys could crack a smile once in a while. They're not the friendliest people I've met. Come on guys. A little smile goes a long way.

Beet taking company cars there for few years but princes went up recently to £23-25 per wash with no wax and much much slower then used to be. Good clean inside the car though.

Vojtec from Unicorn 2000 was very friendly and did a fantastic job diagnosing the mysterious issue with our dripping boiler - and on a Saturday too. He then sourced the parts we needed overnight and returned the next day at 09.00 to fix the problem, to minimise the time we were left without hot water. We were really delighted with this service! London prices for boiler fixes are horrendous but Unicorn is the only very reasonably priced service we have found. We plan to hire Unicorn 2000 again soon for a filter installation. Thank you very much we will continue to use your firm into the future!

Mike Dole and his team swept six chimneys in our Grade II Listed building in EC2 today. A very professional service, excellent job done, would highly recommend.

We had to make a complaint about their first visit to clean the chimney over a gas fire. Once contact was established, Mike Dole and his team quickly rectified the problem, coming out on a Saturday to re-sweep the chimney. He also advised on additional corrective work which he undertook the following Saturday, at our convenience. Thank you for listening to our concerns, and resolving the issue.

Faultless. Without doubt the only EOT cleaning company I would ever dream of using. The customer service is incredible, the cleaning is also fantastic and I would trust Remora Cleaning with anything. The team respond to emails and calls almost instantly and they are professional, polite and warm. The service feels very personal, especially while speaking to the admin staff on the phone. In addition the owner Edward is almost always available to speak to if I would like to speak to him, only occasionally I do and he will normally call back within the hour even if he is abroad. I experienced a slight leakage in my apartment. I was really stressed out - especially because I have young children and shutting the water supply is a big no! The engineer came over, promptly solved the issue and held a very friendly conversation with my kids! A very cheerful individual he was, all my stress vanished away!

I couldn't get the online checkout working so I called up and talked to a lady with a lovely phone manner. My fridge was delivered two days later at the time promised. The delivery team was also very personable. Much better than dealing with Argos! Would recommend and would deal with again.

Lynne's has probably installed my entire kitchen, from cookers to dryers to chest freezers! I come back to Lynne's again & again for the fast reliable service, excellent customer care & great quality appliances.

I had some issues with my Vacuum cleaner, called customer services and told them about the issues, the customer service representative told me to do some test on the vacuum cleaner while she was on the phone which I did. She told me the issues should be solved after the test, and she told me to call back if it doesn’t. I felt bit weird because I knew the vacuum cleaner is faulty. I expected her to arrange for a engineer visit. After a day I called customer services again and representative was more helpful,and she arranged for currier to pick up the vacuum cleaner. They took two weeks to deliver the vacuum back to me. but I was very happy, because they replaced all the old accessories which was faulty with the new accessories. Very happy with the service at the end. Thanks Miele.

I had a great experience with Carcaptain. They were very responsive to my emails, calls and and text messages. I was able to start driving lessons the day after contacting them and passed first time after only 2 weeks of driving. I was looking for a place to service my old, tired LDV van, which is not an easy job and not something most garages are too keen to do. I tried Pullman based on the reviews online. They were incredible, offered me tons of good advice, charged me less than they should have and were extremely friendly. Most of all, they explained the work they had done in a way I could understand and gave me tips on how to keep the issue from reoccurring. This is a wonderful place.

My first time being at Car tech was yesterday. And I was amazed a Teddy’s honesty and professionalism about my car. He showed me the broken sensor from my car and proceeded to give me an itemised list of the cost. He kept me informed from the onset and through out the diagnostic phase. We also had lots of banter. Very helpful people. They carried out a service on my Mercedes ML320, engine nice and quiet again and also changed the automatic gearbox oil and transmission filter which has made the car much smoother on gear changing, well worth it. The costing was very reasonable compared to other quotes I obtained. Will use again.

I was worried calling an emergency electrician out would cost me a lot and that I’d be shown a huge bill at the end... I had no power and young children so I called ko electrical. They fixed the issue in no time. The bill at the end was only what I had been quoted, they even gave me a lightbulb that had blown in my hallway. I would call again if ever I have an electrical issue!

We have a ladies fashion boutique at Marble Arch London and needed a cheap reliable electrician and from the moment that I spoke to Anna I knew that I had found the right company Anna took time to explain that there was no call charge and they could attend within the hour I thought it was too good to be true as we been ripped off by Pimlico Plumbers so I was a bit nervous. We have had so many compliments about our garden but more importantly we absolutely love spending time out there. We wanted a modern, grown-up space now that we are finally garden owners but also something fun and practical for two very little people - all within a very small space. We also are not green fingered but wanted to feel that it was still a garden not just a holding pen for a playhouse and BBQ. Charlie and her team from Ginkgo Gardens managed to wave a magic wand over a space which offered fairly limited options and a client whose ideas continue to ‘evolve’. They were patient but also helped us challenge our thinking and work out what really mattered to us. We ended up with plants that have meaning for us (who knew!?) and that are resilient in the face of our fairly negligent gardening skills. The team’s flexibility and creativity have helped us to shape a garden that is really special, but their spotless work (mid-terrace recently refurbished Islington home), relability, helpfulness on costing options and professionalism made the project low-stress for us. We had never designed a garden before nor had we any clue who to hire but we made the right choice and have now asked the team to come back to help us transform our front garden. Charlie is happily available again to help us with part two of our great garden plans.

I have been looking for a good hair salon for ages and tried this salon out for the first time (seeing it had the best rating). I had my haircut done by Lauren. She was kind, friendly and very professional. She talked me through my haircut and cut my hair exactly how i asked her to, to the length i wanted. These guys are really great. I've been going for years now. They have two extensionists and two GreatLengths Cold Fusion machines so they can easily fit me in around my busy schedule. The Extensions they produce are amazing - so invisible, even when worn with my hair up - i honestly don't know how they do it but they do... The last time i was in Michelle Collins from Eastender/Corrie was in getting her extensions done which always adds a little interest because I'm a massive soaps fan/stalker :-) I only use Greatlengths because they're 100% human hair (unlike some) and they're 100% ethically sourced. I cannot thank Capital Fortune enough. Even though we only required a 50% mortgage, run our own business, incomes and credit histories - due to a recent company sale I wasn't able to get a mortgage from a high street lender. I was really shocked and couldn't understand. I found Capital Fortune online and after a telephone call with Peter Bartlett they said they thought they could arrange a mortgage - and at a normal interest rate. From that point forward they quickly followed through, the decision in principle was in within a few days. Then a full and comprehensive list was sent through of the documents required, our administrator Alex Fryday updated us at every stage, he was always available when I called - I didn't have to leave a message or wait in a hold system queue! The final stages were managed through by Stephen Marsh and we had the same level of support and great service as the other guys in the team. I run my own business and I have been totally impressed by the service. They did exactly what they said they would, they were on the telephone when needed, kept us fully updated and we are really grateful to Peter, Alex and Stephen and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Been a local for last 8 yrs and visit the library several times a yr. The staff are friendly/ helpful. I print documents there or get travel books if going overseas etc The only negative thing is the opening hrs, It would be nice to b open 7 days a week otherwise you’ve got to go to my knowledge all the way down northcote Rd, even one on lavender hill is closed similar hrs. It’s a bit of a shame...

It is such a small library for such a rich area; but I guess I should be grateful there is a library here at all; anyway, just make sure you check whether the book you are after is in stock and you should be fine; however, it doesn't seem to have a lot of desks and computers.

Working with Graeme, David and the team is a pleasure. The teams' painting skills and attention to detail are second to none. They're a pleasure to have in the house, 100% trustworthy, very friendly and they clean up at the end of the day! David, the head painter is just fantastic - he listens to the client, consistently delivers over and above on expectations and also happens to be amazing with kids which is a real plus for families! Yes they are pricey compared to other painters but they are 100% worth it.

Trim are great every time, such a pleasing way to complete a project - slick and considerate, working out of hour away from customers. Very professional and in my opinion the best all round decorating experience, from initial comprehension of scope right through to delivery. Advice is unbiased, straightforward and honest. Barrie Downie is a GENIUS. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone to interview him I knew he was the right man for the job. He is incredibly knowledgeable on lighting and also very passionate. From the moment he arrived he made everyone feel comfortable. He knew all the best angles for photographs as soon as he arrived. Even though the flat was small and dark the photos he took here were excellent. As I got dressed he took a few modelled shots which made it look like I actually knew how to put on a suit. Thanks for that Barrie. At the wedding his attention to detail was uncomperable. As well as getting excellent photos of the ceremony, several group shots, and some great modelled photos of my new wife and I around our venue, he also got so many photos of our friends and family chatting which really captured the feel of the day. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, spend the extra money and hire a professional. I would recommend Barrie Downie a thousand times over to anyone who needed a photographer.

Barrie is an amazing photographer. The entire process of the pre-wedding photo shoot was very exhaustive, as expected, in addition to the extremely sunny weather. However we were pleasantly surprised how he consistently relates to us and ensure that the whole experience was a seamless and great one. There may be many great photographers out there, but I can assure you, he is the real deal who knows what his client wants. We all know that indoor shoots are always relatively easier to take, and outdoor shoots are usually more challenging due to lighting limitations, yet he is able to overcome such limitations at ease. Picture speaks a thousand words. Here is one which I am sharing my joy with all.

Peter found our problem quickly and solved it as quickly as possible with a positive attitude. He and the Pimlico office were up front about pricing and time estimates. Job was done faster and better than expected, and the results were very professional. Peter was very trustworthy and pleasant to be around. Response time and communication was great. I would call them again in a heartbeat if I ever have another plumbing issue.

I was in a proper sweat after the managing agent of the London flat I own called early one morning to say there had been a leak. And what's more, water had made it's way through to the flat below and had caused damage to a neighbour's property. I had to get to work and was in a bit of a flap. What should I do? There was no way that I was going to call the last plumber - he'd charged me a fortune and clearly bodged the job after a previous leak. I'd seen the Pimlico Plumbers vans around the city and had been told they were a premium company who could be relied on. But with that 'premium' service you could expect to pay an, err, 'premium' price. To be honest, this was not a time to scrimp given that my tenants were in dire need of a sink in working order. And I could hardly run the risk of the leak causing further damage to my neighbour's flat. So I enlisted Pimlico Plumbers who were able to attend the next day and carry out the work there and then. Of course, that meant me agreeing to an estimate that made the eyes water but the work was carried out as agreed with the minimum of fuss before my tenants came home from their day at work. I now have every confidence this problem will not re-occur. The plumber who attended also identified a problem with my boiler which has led to another job undertaken by Pimlico Plumbers and while both have cost me a small fortune, my fraying nerves have been calmed by the knowledge that the firm can be relied upon to carry out their work to a high standard. This company is well-named: they quickly diagnosed that our old boiler was finished - I think we knew that from its death rattle. They then set about replacing it, working in a team of three and not wasting a moment. All the guys were very friendly and we enjoyed their company. But most important they replaced our boiler in less than one day with a brilliant new one, replaced the old taps on the radiators and, by the time they left at 10pm, the whole system was working wonderfully and now all we have to do is to read and understand all the instruction booklets they left. We will recommend Fast Response to anyone who needs a new boiler fitted quickly and without fuss.

I came back from holiday to find my kitchen floor was flooded. It was the last thing I needed after a long trip. I called a plumber I've used before but he was busy. ABC Imaging offer a brilliant service. If in doubt ask for Ola or Sabina and they’ll sort you out. I had a boutique job needed on watercolour paper. They were the only printers able to do it and Ola happily tested the paper to get the job right and personally made sure the job was perfect. So often people are quick to say no; ABC does the work with good grace and expertise.

ABC Imaging is a place I'd always recommend people to come to print their work. The people here are trustable, passionate and patient when it comes to print, they would take care of your detail requests and solve the problems by consist communications. They are also equipped with professional knowledge and can provide useful advice to make the prints of your work even better, especially Alin, the outcomes he delivered are always amazing and is willing to help and discuss. Although the shop would be pretty busy during some specific time, the quality is worth waiting and the actual time they take to finish your work is efficient.

AzoPrint have consistently delivered 1st class print service at a competitive prices over the years in Central London. These guys will go the extra mile, provide expert advice and guidance at all times. I have been using Azo for many years and would highly recommend to all clients. they look after students, freelancers, small business owners right through to large corporates - no job is too small for them. Printing is a really tough sector but these guys are still in business which says a lot in today's market.

English is not my first language but I'm a graphic designer and tried to explain the outcome to the staff, the first day one of the staff members did not understand what I wanted but the day I needed to print the staff behaved differently (better) and help me get my document printed! :D It's great quality and amazing outcome! However, I do think they need to work on customer service, I can wait to get their attention but I could see we were 5 people waiting to have our requests so maybe they could have one person attending requests and then assigned them to someone to print etc...just an opinion! BUT their quality of work is EXCELLENT! and timing too! also, the staff knows what they are doing so they are professionals :) Pros to hiring great staff!

Let me paint the scene. A truck had crashed into a factory, sending gas canisters flying across both the M1 and the St Pancras train route. It was 4 in the morning and the group was dejected to say the least. 1 phone call later, a 7 seater taxi, a automobile of pure opulence had arrived. Good service at a good price.

I am very happy with this service. I have very little experience with London and had to navigate it for my new job during a business trip. I used them 3 times over the course of three days. Always friendly and even sent me my cab when my phone cut out due to signal on a train journey back from Leicester. Despite the fact I had barely finished the sentence. Well looked after with this service. Will use everytime if ever in London on business again.

We booked taxi from Waterloo Park Plaza Hotel to Heathrow airport. We were recommended this taxi company by our hotel staff and must say they are professional company. The car was BMW which we never seen in London as a taxi before. The driver was suited and very mannered friendly. The best thing we like about Waterloo Cars that they have payment card terminals in their cabs. Thank you.

Drake Henderson has been second to none in the organisation of my big birthday celebrations with a group of friends who couldn't me more complicated in their individual wants and desires for the trip. Throughout Drake had been patient, accommodating of last minute big changes and has always displayed a 'can do' attitude. To be honest, a better travel advisor I haven't experienced. Drake will be my personal 'go-to' for further travel agents as he took the pressure off and made me feel comfortable and confident in his expertise. I was very impressed with the level of customer care from Crystal Travel. After a booking fell through they followed up to find me another great deal. It was great to have someone call me personally and to talk to rather than dealing with a voice recording. The rapport was personable (thank you Bratt!). And I ended up having a better connection than the original booking. Communication via email was really quick as well and got my e-tickets within minutes after making payment. Last week whilst on holiday, I had to suddenly change my flight due to an emergency back home. I went to Elizabeth St Emergency vet on a Sunday, with my quite difficult cat as she was unable to walk this morning. Emola the vet was amazing and completely diagnosed the problem putting our minds at rest. They were able to help me organise a claim form for my pet insurance. They were 100% professional. They work so very hard. My normal vet recommends them for our of hours cover, but if I were to be sure to have Emola, she is so good with cats, I would be happy to go back there any time.

I recently have been to Goddards in Stockwell for my dog's routine yearly check and vaccination. It was great to see Niven. He is always very friendly and accommodating to answer all questions in detail. All my animals ( there are quite a few of them ) are happy to see him and the team. I have been registered with Goddard Vets in Stockwell for a while now and can only highly recommend. Thank you Niven and team for all your support!

Spectrum are amazing! We must be one of their smallest customers - 5 flats in an old warehouse building. They communicate every month to let me know when they will be here - they arrive on time and do not leave until everything is sparkling. They hand finish all of the windows that they can - (on lower levels) and spend extra time to clean frames etc if needed. They are always more than pleasant and I will use them even if I move!
