Fantastic night out. Only one of the guys was not funny at all. The rest of them made my face hurt from laughing. Brilliant 👌
Good atmosphere. Good food although I realised too late I was overcharged. It won't stop me going there howevet
183 Tottenham Court Rd, Bloomsbury, London W1T 7PE, UK – 020 7631 3618
Good for Friday nights. Seems to close too early though (should stay open until 3 in my honest opinion). Prices are standard London prices, good selection of import lagers and ales.
Pretty standard-fare pub on Tottenham Court Road. Standard food. Standard taps. Standard cocktails. With one notable exception: an absolute behemoth of a patio garden! Split over 2 levels, with covered and uncovered portions, the back garden of TCR (Tottenham Court Road, I just got this!) is a great place to kick back with pints and fare. Service is generally great although, on busier nights, takes quite a hit due to after-work office traffic.
Empire Casino, 5-6 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7NA, UK – 020 3627 0425
If you’re out with a group & wanting to watch a sporting event (ours was a premier league game) it is worth booking in here! Reasonably priced food & drink, big screens everywhere & the casino is just down stairs for half time. Our mates will be blown away if you take them to this little hidden gem. Just keep going through the building as you walk in & you will come to it eventually. Well worth booking if you can.
Busy, livey bar in the Empire Casino at the top of Liecester Square. Well worth going to see an international or European cup fixture here. Countless screens and bookable table area make this a worthwhile sports night. Book on line in plenty of time.

I come here from time to time as it's near to my work. Food is delicious, staff are very welcoming and friendly. I like that they are very careful with dietary requirements, and go above and beyond to make sure that I know what I'm eating and don't compromise my dietary needs. They have some very good vegan options in amongst their regular items, Just ask the staff.
Very busy place but the food was quite good and staff did their best despite the crowds of people. It could be better if they took out a couple of tables here and there to give some extra space. Weve been a couple of times now and always the same experience. I particularly like the chicken wings. Its always clean here and the docor is fresh.

I have been to many of the Galvin Restaurants. Each of them offer a unique experience and a lovely twist of French cooking. Galvin La Chapelle is absolutely stunning and the crab lasagna is one of my favourite of the Galvin brothers’ signature dishes. Galvin HOP offers a relaxed ambiance and their Tarte flambée is delicious. The Athenaeum offers lovely afternoon tea and their bar is very stunning, a great venue for a Friday or Saturday night cocktail. I have also had the chance to venture the Galvin Green Man in Chelmsford which is less than an hour from London. Since they’ve opened, they won many awards including a Bib Gourmand and that’s not surprising. With lovely surrounding countryside, you can enjoy their Galvin’s classics, some lovely seasonal dishes or if you are in the mood even some pub grub. Definitely worth the ride! I can’t recommend Galvin restaurants enough and wish them many more years of success.
Not bad but would not go again
White Bear Yard, 25A Lisle St, London WC2H 7BA, UK – 020 7734 3388
A classic of China Town, particularly good for weekend dim sum brunch. This place has been doing what they do - well - for a long time. Service is professional and efficient though it could be warmer.
Lovely restaurant.. ...the staff are amazing. The food was amazing. The staff got into conversation with us and discovered it was my partners birthday.....and surprised us with a scoop of ice cream with a candle. She sang happy birthday with me and took pictures for us. Lovely atmosphere!
40 New Oxford St, Bloomsbury, London WC1A 1EP, UK – 020 7631 4538
Close to the British Museum & the Cartoon Museum. Good, generous servings of food; fast and friendly service. Reasonably priced - soup, tea and main £15 pp.
8 Gerrard St, London W1D 5PJ, UK – 020 7434 3838
Tasty food, reasonable prices. Staff were lovely and managed to accommodate a small child (and their buggy) and their wheelchair bound parent as part of a group. One of the very few places in this area with step free access. No accessible toilets though. 5 stars for being the best on the block, and for consistency, as I do not always notice accessibility issues.
Really awesome experience here. Very authentic and tasty dim sum. Don't forget egg tarts!

Amazing, genuine Indian food. Especially the seafood platters were really tasty. Great service and pleasant staff. Appropiate wait time between the courses and reasonable prices. I will definitely go back here next time I'm in London.
Excellent food. Have never had any thing like it or as good as it. Food was yummy and very warm and indulging. Try the king prawn curry, the lamb curry, and the starter platter. Enjoy!
Halkin Arcade, 19 Motcomb St, Belgravia, London SW1X 8LB, UK – 020 7823 1166
Excellent fine dinning Indian restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is tasty. Just make sure to make a reservation in advance. Their appetizers and main course options were great ,however, the portions were small but it’s better in order to share and try other dishes as well. Make sure to get the green chicken appetizer.
Fabulous food great service. Easy to have conversation not noisy. We had one of the platters for our lunch truly delicious.
68 Millman St, London WC1N 3EF, UK – 020 7405 3697
Went on a Tuesday night, as a group of 8 people. We were welcomed, seated and served quickly and after ordering, the food was served in no time at all. All the waiters were friendly and polite and were happy to explain any of the dishes to us and suggest appropriate sides or breads to go with our choices. All my colleagues agreed the food was excellent and a little different to the typical Indian curry fare you find in London. Many of the dishes had an unusual but interesting twist to them. The Kori Gassi was delicious with the addition of pomegranate. I'm sure we'll be visiting again.
one of the best indian/curry restaurants in north london - tucked away in little backstreets, but always very busy. Has a lively, exciting feel and great for downing a few cold beers too
Giotto Italian Restaurant, 52-54 New Oxford Street, Bloomsbury, London WC1A 1ES, UK – 020 7323 0891
I ordered Spaghetti Carbonara and a bottle of italian wine. It was so lovely and they served it just they I like it.
Family owned Italian restaurant. Great pizza & pasta all served while listening to live piano music.
21 Frith St, Soho, London W1D 4RN, UK – 020 7734 4737
I have visited several times now both I n the evenings as a group and during the day for a spot of business lunch, on all occasions the food and service has been second to none. Absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend anyone and often do! Bravo!
A fantastic restaurant. The stake is absolutely fabulous. They would have had 5 stars from me if they hadn't lost my bags at the wardrobe. That's bad enough to give you a number for your bag, tell you not to lose it and then lose it ... told me to call them next day, when I did they have found it, told me to go pick it at anytime it suits me. When i did made me wait 30 min and had a go at me "next time you come to pick your lost bag don't come pick it at 2030 as we are most busy then".... very bad attitude from some which spoils all the efforts others put into their work. #londonartandfood
1 Sutton Walk, Lambeth, London SE1 7ND, UK – 020 7620 1300
the restaurant is in the arch spaces underneath a train. I loved the exposed brick interior. The staff is ok. I ordered a pretty typical Italian pasta dish. the ravioli. my husband ordered a salad. My ravioli was great but he hated his salad.
Very tasty pasta, try the Azzurro speciality. Also the deserts were not bad. Service was quite fast. Overall quite satisfied with the experience.
1st Floor, 14 Neal's Yard, London, Covent Garden WC2H 9DP, UK – 020 7419 2014
Lovely place for veggie/vegan eaters. Was very busy and had to share a table with other customers, but still grateful that we had a table at all! Red wine was great. Very tasty main meal, but the star was the brownie! I have to say it was the best ever. Thank you :-)
Great food. Nice atmosphere. I would rate it 5 stars but it is overpriced and the portions are small so left a tad hungry. Notwithstanding that, the food is super healthy, super tasty and restaurant has a good location.
45 Lexington St, Carnaby, London W1F 9AN, UK – 020 7494 1634
I really loved 75% of what I ordered. I feel like you should get a briefing from a regular on what is good and what is average. (We did from our neighboring table.). My company did not enjoy the fries I ordered the sweet potato Curry & it was very good (but not unique... So you might get good Curry at a different restaurant with much less wait.). The cheese appetizer was clever and delicious!!! The broccoli appetizer was very good... But again, you could get a similar dish elsewhere. So one of us is a vegetarian and one of us is a gluten free vegetarian. The menu is super accommodating for food allergies! I would say it's safe to eat here-- as in: you know the kitchen understands food allergies.
Great food, but pricey. Crazy wait times even at 17:30 weeknights. Fun atmosphere, but boisterously noisy. Some gluten free options. But did I mention the waits? Not for the faint-hearted or the eager-to-eat, but a hit with my out of town guests.
48 Eastcastle St, Fitzrovia, London W1W 8DX, UK – 020 3581 1538
Delicious food at this popular, West End, vegetarian restaurant. It's worth booking table otherwise you could have a wait as it gets very busy. There's a wide range of food on offer and it changes daily according to what's in season. Salads, hot, cold, gluten free, vegan are all available, as are all kinds of flavours including Thai, Chinese and Indian. You pay by weight and it can mount up quickly so bear that in mind as you fill your plate!
The restaurant surroundings were nice but the tables are very close to one another so had to breath in to get to my seat to avoid knocking anything off the table. The food was yummy & reasonably priced but it was all cold, which is good during the summer but not winter as well. Some of the food was a little under cooked for my liking and the desserts were a bit stale. Plus the labels weren't very clear which dishes they were referring to or what the ingredients are. The staff we're very friendly but not attentive. Saying that there aren't many options for us vegan's to eat out so will probably go back...maybe they play on this fact??
8-10 Neal's Yard, London WC2H 9DP, UK – 020 7734 7737
Good wine list but service is awful. We ordered a glass of white and one of red. The red came in a warm glass and as it was spicy, it tasted like mulled wine. When I finally went to the bar to exchange, the girl touched the glass and said: it looks fine to me but I will change it for you (as if she were doing a favour). I then asked for the same white that my boyfriend had as I didn't want them to chill the red wine just wanted it to be the proper temperature, but she made it as if I didn't like the wine and were looking for an excuse to get a different one. Made me feel like an idiot and this little thing made the experience just 'blah' (not to mention they have 12.5% service charge ). I recommend instead Vagabond in Spitalfields - they have better service and prices.
Great atmosphere, great decor and most importantly great wines. The cheeses we tried were also pretty amazing 😊
5 Greek St, Soho, London W1D 4DD, UK – 020 7287 3713
It's the concept that drew me to this bar. Any wine for £20 you don't have to worry about price just pick the one you like. Except when you get there there's are only a selection for 20 and I wanted the ones that happened to be £30 so the concept and uniqueness of this place is kind of lost. That said the bar has a great atmosphere though it was very loud. It may have just been the night I went but everyone in the place was shouting over each other to be able to hear their conversions.
My favourite place to meet girls over a great bottle of red wine. Lots of options of wines for different budgets. Lovely vibe and nice staff. You DO need to book and yes and you only get the table for 2 hours, but this is central London so to be expected!
18 Wine Office Court,, Hill House,, Shoe Lane, London EC4A 3BQ, UK – 020 7842 0620
We had a great time for my belated birthday, definitely something different and has a really nice vibe. We went on Friday and the music was SPOT ON! The drinks were also amazing, the only downside was it took ages to get drinks, we would be waiting in the queue (despite being at the front - not their fault as one person ordered about 30 drinks) for so long that we were no longer feeling the vibe and moved to the next cocktail bar. You will still have an amazing time just order in batch!
Went for NYE event 2017/18. The place is more of a bar with seating with a small dance floor in the middle of each room. Prices are pretty much standard for London so pricey. Staff are really welcoming and helpful, didn't experience anything like some of the stuff in the other reviews. Our table was good and the drinks provided were enough, maybe not enough seating for our party but we were a large group so this was expected as the place is relatively small. Main downside is there isn't much else, from what I saw, around the bar, so a non event night out probably isn't the best. Overall, I was impressed and enjoyed it!
