183 Tottenham Court Rd, Bloomsbury, London W1T 7PE, UK – 020 7631 3618
Good for Friday nights. Seems to close too early though (should stay open until 3 in my honest opinion). Prices are standard London prices, good selection of import lagers and ales.
Pretty standard-fare pub on Tottenham Court Road. Standard food. Standard taps. Standard cocktails. With one notable exception: an absolute behemoth of a patio garden! Split over 2 levels, with covered and uncovered portions, the back garden of TCR (Tottenham Court Road, I just got this!) is a great place to kick back with pints and fare. Service is generally great although, on busier nights, takes quite a hit due to after-work office traffic.
7 Station Approach, Marylebone Rd, Marylebone, London NW1 5LA, UK – 020 7486 3489
Love this place, lots of space to get all your friends and their friends together, regardless how big is your group this place will accomodate, great food on offer for lunch dinner all through the week. Reasonably priced drinks friendly staff and customers are usually a friendly bunch too... facilities are clean most of the time..
Standard Wetherspoon pub so usual food menu. I had the mixed grill and the steak came exactly as I wanted. Good range of cask ales with 6 taps and all of a good quality. This is right next to the Baker Street underground station so is easy to get to. Visited midweek and even at 10pm, this place was very busy and finding a table was difficult. Staff were polite and friendly. The pub itself is large and of the usual Wetherspoon quality.
Empire Casino, 5-6 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7NA, UK – 020 3627 0425
If you’re out with a group & wanting to watch a sporting event (ours was a premier league game) it is worth booking in here! Reasonably priced food & drink, big screens everywhere & the casino is just down stairs for half time. Our mates will be blown away if you take them to this little hidden gem. Just keep going through the building as you walk in & you will come to it eventually. Well worth booking if you can.
Food (although tactically salty) and value only thing to save from only 3 stars, service disappointing and having 9 screen matrix to be cool instead of giant screen was annoying when watching sport. also don't go thinking those sockets are for your use as you'll get a wrist slap for pinching power instead of pay to charge unit in lobby 🤷♂️

Absolutely fantastic. My wife and I truly enjoyed a wonderful tasting experiences. All staffs were professional and friendly, and the whole atmosphere was truly cozy and comfortable. Foods were definitely the best. Every dish was perfectly prepared, decorated, and served. We were so excited and truly happy with everything in this restaurant. We like to visit London again, even only for visiting this restaurant again!!
It’s a hard review. 3 star with no wow.... very busy and overcrowded dining room. Busy staff forever in your eyeline although they are all professionals. Nothing memorable about the food, but the food was good. #oxymoron. Ahh, a flashback. Everybody left the desert!! Lemon something. Wasn’t worth the calorie intake...

Gorgeous food, lovely location. They make the amazing mango curry better than any other place in London. Must try the coconut rice, is divine!
Very tasty and well priced. Excellent Keralan style Indian food.
27 Red Lion St, London WC1R 4PS, UK – 020 7242 5821
Went here for a meal, group of six incl. children. Was a quiet friendly restaurant and was nicer than going to the hustle and bustle of china town. Food (especially main courses) were huge portions and really nice. Staff were friendly and welcoming to the children, not rushed at all and even advised against us ordering too much food etc which was honest of them. Would definitely go back, very pleasant meal.
Brilliant Chinese restaurant. A jewel on Red Lion Street. Good always fantastic.
27 Gerrard St, London W1D 6JN, UK – 020 7437 3186
Let us be honest it Chinese food, but this food was fresh tasting and enjoyable. How ever it was not as hot on reaching the table as it should be. The service is good once you are noticed, l visited on a Saturday night so can live with having to wait a touch longer. I overheard a couple complaining when we were served before them and rightly so, because the were forgotten having consumed the starters. However once pointed out apologies were offered as well as a free chicken dish for two. Beware of sitting close to the door, a cold breeze greets you every time someone enters. Overall a good night out, truly worth the visit.
Good prices, enjoyed the chefs special. Food was tasty but nothing to write home about. Service not bad - a bit perfunctory but they were BUSY. Not a romantic spot. Lots of locals and families. Always a good sign.
White Bear Yard, 25A Lisle St, London WC2H 7BA, UK – 020 7734 3388
Lovely restaurant.. ...the staff are amazing. The food was amazing. The staff got into conversation with us and discovered it was my partners birthday.....and surprised us with a scoop of ice cream with a candle. She sang happy birthday with me and took pictures for us. Lovely atmosphere!
Sitting next to floor entrance door. It was drafty. Very noisy private rooms close by with plenty of singing. However, the service was efficient, quick and food was very good. Overall, a good night meeting and eating with friends.

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Being a regular I have not been disappointed once and have loved the consistency on the food and the service. Will keep going back for more. Also a big thank you for accommodating me at late notice every time, it’s always appreciated.
Absolutely incredible. Been to many indian restaurants but Amaya was truly unique. The food, cocktails and overall service were just amazing. Lemon sole, crab cakes, chilli lamb, chicken cutlet, venison kebabs were delish! Not to forget the korma which was really tasty. Wonderful experience! Highly highly recommended if you're looking for indian with a twist.

I'm not a big fan of Indian cuisine as I found its food having too much flavours. I've been here once and it changed my mind. The food was quite mild and tasty. I love the small snacks with different sauces they serve you as starters and the prawn curry in a raw coconut. I've seen negative comments about the service but we had a friendly and helpful waiter, am I lucky?
Lovely food, tasty, good sized portions, and the set menu is good value. The waiter’s attitude let it down though, he was rude, unfriendly and left us waiting for a long time to pay our bill.
68 Millman St, London WC1N 3EF, UK – 020 7405 3697
Went alone after 10 PM for dinner. Really good and kind service. The quality of the food was amazing. Had prawns as a starter, they were triple the size you usually get and tasteful at the same time. The Duck as a main and garlic bread was amazing too. Will definetely come again :-)
Nice Indian restaurant near Russel square. Portions are small but well balanced, delicately spiced dishes. Okra with mango stood out for me😋
Giotto Italian Restaurant, 52-54 New Oxford Street, Bloomsbury, London WC1A 1ES, UK – 020 7323 0891
Really great Italian dishes! We had pizza and spaghetti and a bottle of wine, both was fresh and tasty. Wine was great as well! The waiters were really lovely and we loved the live piano music, this was really special!
Good service good food and on my visit piano played background music adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Good value for money
21 Frith St, Soho, London W1D 4RN, UK – 020 7734 4737
A fantastic restaurant. The stake is absolutely fabulous. They would have had 5 stars from me if they hadn't lost my bags at the wardrobe. That's bad enough to give you a number for your bag, tell you not to lose it and then lose it ... told me to call them next day, when I did they have found it, told me to go pick it at anytime it suits me. When i did made me wait 30 min and had a go at me "next time you come to pick your lost bag don't come pick it at 2030 as we are most busy then".... very bad attitude from some which spoils all the efforts others put into their work.
Absolutely fantastic! Despite the kitchen being closed, they managed to get us some delicious starters and main courses. The suggested wine was grand! Also the service is second to none. Great vibe Down here.

First time we have been to this restaurant on a weekend trip to London. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff are really friendly. I had the nicest pizza I've ever eaten so can't wait to try again!
Italian restaurant serving a range of pizzas, pastas and other food. Nothing special but great value given the location
45 Lexington St, Soho, London W1F 9AN, UK – 020 7494 1634
It's an upscale place and the food is good, but there are better venues. It's quite crowded, you've usually got to queue to get in and they don't take bookings. My squash could have been cooked more and my "chicken" could have been more moist, but flavours were good and service was fast. Efficient, perhaps at the expense of being relaxing. It was nicer when it calmed down at about 3.30pm and was less full and noisy.
Good food at Mildreds Soho. Lots of vegan options. Prices are reasonable. However as they don't take bookings we had to wait an hour for table and the waiting area at the bar is very crowded and not enjoyable as people constantly squeezing past. Serve was good though my food was cold. They replaced it without any problems.
1st Floor, 14 Neal's Yard, London, Covent Garden WC2H 9DP, UK – 020 7419 2014
Lovely place for veggie/vegan eaters. Was very busy and had to share a table with other customers, but still grateful that we had a table at all! Red wine was great. Very tasty main meal, but the star was the brownie! I have to say it was the best ever. Thank you :-)
Located at the first floor of a nice building, this lovely cafe offers healthy food with vegan options. The atmosphere is calm. Welcoming and friendly staff. Loved the salads and burgers. Food is presented nicely. Excellent service.
11 Harrington Rd, Kensington, London SW7 3ES, UK – 020 7589 9333
The decoration and furniture is very well done. However, the price is too high for what they offer. £6 for a very long wait to finally get a piece of bread with the wrong order on it is not very professional. I ordered a salmon toast to receive an avocado one, which I do not like. I then didn't want to spend another 10 minutes waiting for them to change my toast, so I stayed with mine. It could be much better!
Great coffee. Salads lack inspiration. Breakfast menu is not very appealing.
3-4 Archer St, Soho, London W1D 7AP, UK – 020 7734 3342
Our first experience of this lovely pub was yesterday afternoon. It wasn't through choice that we came upon this little gem but through sheer panic, as we were I London shopping when all of a sudden everybody starting running and were shouting ( gun shots ), as you can imagine it was very scary. But these lovely people ushered us in as many as they could, took us all downstairs and looked after us for 2hours. They supplied us with complimentary drinks and words of support and updates of what was happening on the streets outside. For this my friend and I are truly thankful and we would visit again with pleasure x
Trendy crowd with great atmosphere. Bar tenders , cloak room girl would go up on the stage and gave an impromptu performance. I hear this is where west end actors actresses hang out in between shows, hence the multi talented staff. The bar has a wide range of cocktails. Pricey night out but good fun.

We hired Baranis for our corporate Christmas drinks' reception and it was the perfect choice. The venue is a big enough to be spacious but also has a lovely cosy, intimate atmosphere. The staff was excellent throughout the whole process and made sure we had a fantastic time on the day. All the cocktails are delicious and the addition of Petanque adds a welcome extra piece of entertainment. Would definitely hire the venue again for a private party and return for drinks any time!
Superb. Best bar in London that I've found in 15 years. The staff are interesting and very caring of their customers, the cocktails are awesome and the petanque is a wonderful diversion. Oh and the music is cool.
6-7 Great Newport Street, London WC2H 7JA, UK – 020 7836 9533
A cool place to hang out and try out some mind blowing cocktails. The atmosphere is amazing with swinging light bulbs, mini table turned dance floor, super friendly staff etc. Though the choices of music can be a bit better. A place worth visiting on a weekend evening. P.S please don't forget to apply for membership atleast a day before going.
Great atmosphere, really lively and fun bar people, and oh my god the cocktails were totally amazing. Some were really inventive, like a roasted marshmallow paired with a milky cocktail, but _all_ were really delicious. 👌🏻
