Great location, good basic quiet hotel, helpful and kind staff, basic rooms with basic furniture, small bathroom and small sink, but there is the shower. Comfy bed, lcd tv and a small balcony. No fridge, so you have to use the balcony to keep sodas cool.
It was perfectly functional, though very spartan. WiFi was terrible, and unusable at times, in our room. Ceiling lights were harsh and overly bright. I don't regret staying there, though I'd be likely to look elsewhere for my next trip.

This hotel is quite OK. Generous rooms and walking distance to central London. The breakfast is "as usual" continental or English IE nothing specific or extraordinary. Staff is friendly and the reception is 24/7
Totally fine hotel, quite good for the price especially considering the location. The service was always great, very helpful. One example of this is when the restaurant was full during breakfast they brought us to a neighbouring hotel for our breakfast. The room was okay but not amazing. Roomy and comfortable bed, but there was a shower over bath and I couldn't find any climate control/AC.

Fine for the price, but a bit run down and cramped. Breakfast is made to order, which is a plus
Very tiny room, however it was very comfortable and in a great location. Breakfast and wifi included.

Nice bar. Loads great comfy leather sofas. Nice iPa. Pity the open fire wasn't loaded up. Worth a visit
Νice atmosphere but the food was below average. We had the beef sirloin (sunday roast) but it was very dry. Also, I didn't like the fact that the staff was asking us all the time if we want another drink. I would go back only if I want to have drinks in a quite space.

A delightful pub, always busy with a great atmosphere. Excellent wines, and wonderful food. Pleasingly, the menu is actually very fairly priced when you consider the importance they clearly put on dining. The chefs are clearly highly talented, and every time I eat there I have a great time.
Interesting beer selection and good service, but very noisy!

Nice and cozy restaurant with well-made creative dishes. Though the ingredients and some of the dishes we ordered could be found in other restaurants, the way they seasoned them and made them were quite different. Overall speaking, the dishes were flavorful but not overwhelming. The cheesecake was very delicious and too overly sweet as well.
The food was excellent and the selection of wine very good. The menu have British Classics and more research dishes. I will come back.

I had a wonderful stay thru the Bulldog Club in South Kensington, a when I last visited London. Travelling alone I appreciated staying in the home of another woman, felt safe & relaxed, not to mention enjoyed the beautiful surrounds, the decor & location of the home. I was warmly received & my privacy was respected while I came & went catching up with Australian friends living in London at the time😊
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Here you can find pretty good quality outdoor clothing in different styles and colours. The offers are quite good.
Went there with a friend who needed a new backpack. The staff at the counter were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Explaining, in detail, all of the bags many pockets/pouches/features. They also explained how to adjust and fit the bag properly and how to releave weight on certain areas. From what I was expecting (for a shop in central London) they went well above and beyond. It really shows these guys not only enjoy their work but also are interested in the great outdoors.
