Cheap and cheerful accommodation in excellent location. We've stayed in London a few times and this is certainly one of the better areas. Easy access to most of what you need to see in London. If you can try and get a room or one of the upper floors as some of the views across London are spectacular. The restaurant is particularly good although the serving staff didn't seem too happy to be there. The reception staff however were brilliant - cheerful and nothing was too much trouble.
Good place to stay. Bed comfy and big. Air conditioning (I was there in the heatwave). Walk in shower. Room not big, but adequate. Milk etc can be restock in lobby. No biscuits. Liquid soap, shower and hairwash come in wall mounted dispensers.

A top-class hotel with all the amenities you would want from a 5* hotel. Rooms are big and luxurious. Excellent location next to St Paul's and the Millennium Bridge that takes you over to the Tate Modern. It a pleasantly quiet location but still with plenty of restaurants and attractions to choose from. Easy access to the rest of London via the nearby Tube station. We have stayed here a number of times and will keep coming back..Nice
Not really 5 stars. Comfortable but rooms are dated and amenities are okay but nothing stellar. The reception area was routinely overflowing with hen’s party groups or guests trying to check in/out. Staff are sleep walking around the halls and rarely engage with guests in my experience. Very hot public areas and hallways during cooler temperatures and the in-room air conditioning simply doesn’t work after about 10pm, so you cook overnight. Food was good but the restaurant area is very busy and lacking service at breakfast time.

It's too big. They don't have a kitchen you can use on your own. Yet it's a clean place. Make sure you bring your towel as they sell them for 4.5 pounds. The location is good, about 20-30 minutes away from the main attractions. You can use either a bus or a train. The neighborhood is not very exciting, yet it seems to be safe.
twice evidenced dirty, smelly toilets but because of just a few guests who lack hygiene or care. Staff are fabulous and nothing is too much trouble. superb value for central London. have stayed twice and already have another booking in a couple of weeks.... well worth walk from London Victoria.

Great views of the St Aubins Harbour and good food. Slow but good service. The seafood platter came highly recommended. A large selection of seafood with bread and salad. Perhaps best to share, certainly worth a try.
Went here to watch the quarter final of the England vs Sweden World Cup game and the atmosphere was electric. Customers were friendly and polite towards each other despite it being crowded and hot. I've been here a few times and each time the staff have been wonderful. They're friendly and welcoming, food is delicious and the atmosphere/decor is lovely. Location is just a short walk away from Battersea Park too which is ideal.

London's best kept secret. Don't let the exterior fool yout; the beer is on point and the restaurant produces food your nan would be proud of. All for an honest price.
A unique place with great food! Colourful service, unpretentious and honest. Highly recommended.

A nice venue and friendly staff, located opposite one train station and around the corner from another. I've never felt worried leaving the venue late, but the area isn't particularly inviting - in fact it's a bit dreary. Somewhere between hipster and spit and sawdust - drink choices seem to be mostly craft (or brands I'm not familiar with) and therefore more expensive (not break the bank, but more than you might otherwise pay). Gents facilities are kept clean and are pretty good for a pub toilet - can't comment on the ladies. Nice pub if you are in the area but it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way for.
Great pub ! Friendly staff, good prices and nice atmosphere.

Excellent - fabulous cottage booked in Threlkeld, Lake District. No hassle and very easy to book. Would definitely book again.
Booking was totally painless and ,we had a choice of potential places to stay. Acting through the agent kept a certain professional distance as a safety and peace of mind feature btween the owners agents and us the bookers.

We really enjoyed our time at Ivy Lettings! They provided an excellent service from the very beginning. The enquiries team were very prompt in their emails, even answering my questions on a Sunday, and helped us choose a flat that was indeed perfect. When we arrived the apartment was clean, the linens were fresh, the lady who checked us in was incredibly helpful and showed us how everything worked. The location was ideal, very easy to travel around. We would absolutely stay with Ivy Lettings again, and would recommend their service to friends, family, and strangers.
We were so fortunate to have "stumbled across" Ivy Lettings as we searched for a place to stay in London. Since we would be there a week, we knew we wanted to have more room than a hotel could offer. We also knew the general area we wanted to stay and could not be more pleased with our Ivy Lettings rental. It was in the perfect location for us, very convenient to the tube, a market, a Pret a Manger, and so many other places (if only we had had more time to explore them all). The Ivy Lettings staff were always prompt to reply, very helpful, and courteous. They arranged for us to drop off our bags early and pick up the keys which was greatly appreciated. The flat was immaculate and very comfortable. Without hesitation, we would recommend Ivy Lettings and hope to stay with them again.

Very comfortable. Nice breakfast and friendly, helpful landlady. Gave good advice about local restaurants and walks. Plenty of options for public transport and Battersea Park nearby.
We spent two nights in this cosy, friendly B&B last weekend. This charming, pretty house is set in a quiet street and handy for central London. The breakfasts were wonderful and the bedroom was very clean and comfortable. We had a large bathroom also. Barbara was very welcoming and interesting to talk to and we will definitely stay again. It was a little gem, a home from home.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
