Very helpful people.

Local Chambers of Commerce for SW1E 6HQ. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!

What a great website. Informative. Not so much for self interest but for the good of the whole of London. Take the picture of a Table. Some look at things at table level but what is under the table

I neil kandiah let RUS Building Servicesl landscape my garden and he did my garden an amazing job in just 3 days for very fair price.

Dental Surgeries

Implantcenter Dentistry and Oral Surgery

71 Grays Inn Rd, London WC1X 8TR, UK – 020 3411 9910

I would like to say a big thank you to all the Implantcenter staff for their kindness and patience towards me. It's been a year that I have had no difficulties eating and I am smiling freely. :)

Professionalism and empathy. Next time I come for a consultation at the Implantcenter, I will sit in the dental chair without fear. A perfect choice, I can only recommend the clinic to everyone.

Dentistry 100

64-65 Long Ln, London EC1A 9EJ, UK – 020 7638 7100

This place is a real gem. Dr Parkman is the friendliest dentist I think I've ever had, and the kids all get on really well with him too. The surgery is clean, funky, and they play great tunes. Have recommended him it to several of my friends and they all love him too!!!

South Bank Dentists

Riverside Building, Westminster Bridge Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 7PB, UK – 020 7183 3558

When it comes to tooth pain, you quickly understand your teeth are Alive and Kicking. Yes I'm that old. A couple of root canals, gold teeth, the standard ones, and some fillings. This gives you a little overview of my exposure to the dentist professional body. Well, I never met any practice who looked so carefully and efficiently to my dental health. Bravo to the all team! And if you really don't want to go to Southbank Dentists for its high quality service, then go for it for its location: superbly situated in the County Hall, next to Big Ben, of course! Looking over your shoulders to see if you're still there, hahaha :)

London Doctors Clinic

Room 101, 117 Waterloo Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 8UL, UK – 020 8712 9378

Efficient service and very friendly, helpful doctor. It was a great relief to get effective treatment so quickly

Amazing, concerned doctor who took the time to listen and explain. I'm so happy to have found this practice .

London Doctors Clinic

101D, 18 Soho Square, Soho, London W1D 3QL, UK – 020 8712 9378

Personally, for the price I didn't feel there was any real benefit other than convenience and if you just require a basic GP service with no fuss then this is great. However, website should really stipulate the average costs of things like blood tests as no one would imagine it would be £145. The website implies basic things like a blood test would be covered under the £55 fee. Great for convenience, though don't expect any extra value for the price.

appointments always available last minute, professional doctors each time I've been who are happy to give you what you require but still do all the necessary checks and warnings, been getting Kenalog Hayfever injections here for the last 3 years and been best money I've ever spent each time, those who suffer from Hayfever know how much value something that takes it away 99% is!

London Doctors Clinic

1906A, Portland House, Bressenden Pl, Westminster, London SW1E 5RS, UK – 020 8712 9378

This is an exceptional service for people with a busy schedule or limited time in London. I am an expat and need support in managing my diabetes. The LDC has provided a fast turn around on test results, follow-up advice and issue of prescriptions, at very reasonable prices.

I got an appointment 40 minutes after my phone call. Dr Rita Salvador was very thorough & efficient. An easy central location. I was very pleased with the service from LDG. Highly recommended.

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.

National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery

Queen Square, London WC1N 3BG, UK – 020 3456 7890

Had a 10 day stay back in 2012. Could and would not fault a single thing about this hospital. Got me back up and healthy following major surgery within a week. Dr Neil Kitchen is just a genius. Thank god he's alive. Keep on running Neil. All of the staff i incurred were also " spot on "

First visit today to the NUEROLOGY department. Excellent visit with a kind and considerate doctor.

St. Thomas' Hospital

Westminster Bridge Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 7EH, UK – 020 7188 7188

My husband had to be admitted after new year's eve. It was a hard time for us but the staff from this hospital made his stay more pleasant. It makes you realise that paying your tax is not in vain. Don't have words to express my gratitude towards the staff.

After the first queue to check in, there is another wait to register a turn which took 20 minutes. Then, although the approximate waiting time has been stated on the reception, 2 hours in my case, it took me three hours to get to be seen by a nurse and the generic response is "sorry for the wait." By the time I finally saw the GP, I had explained my whole physical problem 4 times. Even though she was nice, it's safe to say it's not worth the 4 hours process. If you need to be seen there, ask for the '5 minutes walk' GP contacts they provide.

Great Ormond Street Hospital

Great Ormond St, London WC1N 3JH, UK – 020 7405 9200

One I don't know why hospitals have a review section when all the doctors and staff working here are exceptional people who want the best for us and others around us. The reviews here say that doctors should not play god yet Charlie Gard is only still alive because these wonderful people are keeping him alive but at the cost of being so unwell and the poor child is just suffering. I cant imagine what the parents must be going through but the pro life people should maybe go back to their place of praying and ask why god decides its a good idea to create ill children and make their loved ones suffer.

Great Ormond Street is one of the BEST hospitals in the world. They are experts at many conditions. They help the children there to get better and stop them from feeling upset about being there. They have a hospital school for patients who will miss a few days or more of school. The staff are very kind and the way they teach makes school likeable. The PE teachers let the children play sitting down Volleyball and are very comic so children start to like the subjects.

The new NHS website below is very well worth a look. Hospitals are not only listed but evaluated. I certainly know which ones I would go to! At the very least you will know what questions to ask if you are sent to one which has not entered its data. Good luck!

Find Local Churches & Places of Worship

St Giles-in-the-Fields

60 St Giles High St, London WC2H 8LG, UK – 020 7240 2532

Visited at around the evening, and is possibly missed any visiting events. The church is great and there's a little park and garden at the back. It's nice and quiet, comparing to the feeling of tired walking around the noise busy streets around the area. Maybe I should research for some fact about the church before writing this guide. I did have a good time spending few minutes sitting there.

There is famous century old High school in South India named after Dudley. Here is a monument.

Euston Church

Church of Christ The King, Gordon Square, Bloomsbury, London WC1H 0AG, UK

Originally Irving's church now consists of English chapel related to Forward in Faith which is usually open and the main church which is open during service time only. It is good to go and pray at the small but very beautiful church anytime.

A small church neighboring the UCL main campus. Has that old small church feel

110 Elephant Rd, London SE17 1LB, UK – 020 7703 7001

I've been in here a few times over the years. I no longer live in the area however, I'll take the trip across town because they have been consistently helpful and good value which is a very hard find amongst bike shops in London. thoroughly recommend! Thanks 🙏

I popped in on the way home as I had a puncture. Fixed quickly and is still holding up well. Only annoying thing is that the cap over the valve wasn't put back on after it was pumped up. Otherwise very good experience and would go back.

Recycle Your Rubbish Ltd

35 Strutton Ground, Westminster, London SW1P 2HY, UK – 0800 644 6790

First rate service. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. I've used twice now, the first time was for an office clearance and this time for a garden clearance. I would definitely use again if needed.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Buckingham Gate

Northbank Restaurant And Bar

1 Paul's Walk, London EC4V 3QH, UK – 020 7329 9299

We had a wonderful evening, we met up with family for drinks in the bar (do ask about happy hour offers and prosecco on Thursdays for the ladies), the staff (who were very good) are more likely to direct you to the top end of the wine list. The trendy bar has a wonderful view over the river (I think you can make reservations for big parties during the week). We had food in the restaurant which was very good. You pay a little extra for the location and ambiance, but it's worth it for an occasion.

Food was nice, atmosphere was almost tense, I'm not sure how to describe it, it was quite empty but somehow disorganized, location is excellent. Quite expensive.

Ev Restaurant

97-99 Isabella St, London SE1 8DD, UK – 020 7620 6192

Eaten here several times and consistently good. The food seems authentically Turkish (never been to the country itself) and i love the way they cook rice and lamb so i am in heaven. Service is a bit flat, they are neither rude nor overjoyed to serve you but they are ok.

Great atmosphere and setting. Menu was unusual which was refreshing. Fairly good service.

15 Great Newport St, London WC2H 7JE, UK – 020 7836 6308

By far the best pizza I've had in London, full of Italians who clearly think a lot of its delicious and authentic food! Great atmosphere and attentive service. Try the meter long pizza, it's fantastic!

This place serves some GREAT food. Pizza was made onsite and fresh. Good quality pasta. It really felt like I was in eating food from Italy. Those who been Italy know what i mean vs the other so called Italian restaurants.

Nursery and Preschools

MACE Montessori Nursery School

38-42 Millman St, London WC1N 3EW, UK – 020 7242 5842

Miss Chris-Jayne and her team at the nursery was nothing but professional and welcoming. I felt at ease allowing my son to participate in their classroom activities. The teachers were warm and welcoming, where I found the children interacting and having such a wonderful time. Clearly, a lot of hard work and thought in this bright and colourful nursery is carried out to ensure the best possible environment for our children to be nurtured at such a crucial learning age. I thoroughly recommend to all!

Very happy with my sons progress at the nursery, the teachers have done a great job with him, he is very independent, well behaved and very sociable since he started the nursery. I am very appreciative to the teachers for the progress he has shown. When I pick him up at 6pm I can see he has had a great playful day as when we go home all he wants to do is rest and sleep. Highly recommend it.

Blundells Day Nursery - South West London Nursery Co Ltd

I would like to say that I have been so happy with Blundells nursery, William has learned so much and when ever I pick him up he will sing me or tell me what he has done there. I can also see how he has improved in every way. Especially he loved Mr. Michael who has been a great help for William to settle down. Unfortunatley we will be moving back to Dubai beginning of December. I would recommend your nursery to everybody and I can't be more than happy with the service you provide there. I am sure William will miss you all!!! Thank you,

City of London School for Girls

City of London School for Girls, St Giles Terrace, Barbican, London EC2Y 8BB, UK – 020 7847 5500

My daughter currently attends but has been very unwell with a long term condition. The way the staff have consistently "gone the extra mile" for her and us shows a level of care that is exceptional. As a parent that is the most important thing and I would happily recommend the school to anyone considering sending their daughter there.

City of London School for Girls is a non-denominational, independent day school, for girls aged 7 to 18, based in the London Square Mile. The School was established by the Corporation of the City of London with money from a bequest from William Ward of Brixton to provide education for girls that “would correspond, as near as may be, to the City of London School”. The school opened in Carmelite Street in 1894 and moved to the present premises in the Barbican in 1969.
